James R. Lawrence: James R. Lawrence has returned to fiction 20 years after he wrote his first novel, Echoes in the Wind. Leaving stage plays and screenplays behind, his new mystery book series features British detective R. Edwin Easley (better known as Mr. REE) and Reggie Poole, the 14-year-old daughter he never knew he had. Together, they travel the world and solve the strangest of crimes. Lawrence is a life-long Wisconsin resident. When he's not writing, he enjoys traveling the US and Canada with his family and playing with his dogs.
